Communication, trust and relationships to regenerate local areas
Urban transformation stems from construction sites, technologies and investments, but it also – and above all – stems from the quality of the relationships that a project manages to build with the local community.
As part of Rome Future Week 2026, FERPI Lazio is hosting a talk dedicated to communication as the ‘raw material’ of the city: a social infrastructure capable of generating trust, participation and shared value.
Through a dialogue between communications professionals, institutions, cultural organisers and local organisations, the event will explore how widespread events, festivals and cultural projects can contribute to the regeneration of public spaces, transforming places people simply pass through into places that are recognised, inhabited and celebrated by the community.
